Transgender people need psychological interventions, not medical ones: percentages of transgender suicidality vary dramatically, from 18-45%, but even on the low end, that is astronomical. A litany of studies agree on one thing, however: “Such high prevalence rates of suicide ideation and attempts among transgender individuals seem closely tied to their gendered experience.”6 Furthermore, “This gender disorder does not seem to be associated with any molecular mutations of some of the main genes involved in sexual dif f erentiation.”7 In other words, there is no biological evidence that the “body is wrong” for transgenders, but rather, that it is a psychological condition which surgery does not only not fi x, but the evidence indicates that it exacerbates the tendencies to self-harm. The people pushing this idea that transgenders are “born in the wrong body” are lying for self-serving and deeply harmful reasons.

The 1998 Robert Smigel animated short film "Conspiracy Theory Rock", part of a March 1998 "TV Funhouse" segment, has been removed from all subsequent airings of the Saturday Night Live episode where it originally appeared. Michaels claimed the edit was done because it "wasn't funny". The film is a scathing critique of corporate media ownership, including NBC's ownership by General Electric/Westinghouse.

World Economic Forum is a "non-profit" organization of bureaucrats paid by big corporations and banksters to implement global post-fascist ideology, "corporate governance". Fascism treated state as corporation, WEF treats entire world as corporation. People around the globe increasingly perceive their interconnectedness and seek ways to express themselves about it OUTSIDE OF FORMAL NATIONAL POLITICAL STRUCTURES.

But the Global Redesign proposals suggest that efforts today to strengthen international cooperation will increasingly need to have a wider focus and apply multiple tools: creating new international law and institutions; upgrading the mandate and capacity of existing international institutions; INTEGRATING NON-GOVERNMENTAL EXPERTISE INTO THE FORMULATION OF POLICY FRAMEWORKS, BE THEY FORMAL (LEGAL) OR INFORMAL (VOLUNTARY OR PUBLIC-PRIVATE); and integrating non-governmental resources into policy implementation.

In June 2008 and again in September 2009, the Forum’s cross-industry Gleneagles Dialogue and Low-Carbon Prosperity Task Force outlined the elements of a complementary, bottom-up strategy to build enabling architecture in several crucial areas, including low-carbon investment in developing countries, diffusion of energy efficient products and industrial processes, accelerated development of smart grid and carbon capture and storage technologies, IMPLEMENTATION OF LARGE-SCALE DEFORESTATION and land use initiatives in developing countries, and establishment of consistent, carbon-related corporate and consumer product metrics.
